Mom Refuses Ritalin and Heals Her ADHD Autism Kids With Natural Medicine

www.thenaturalguide.com – (Video by Larry Cook) Deborah Merlin raised prematurely born twin sons diagnosed with a host of medical problems and neurological challenges. She refused to put her children on Ritalin or other stimulant medications while at the same time the other conventional medicine treatments and therapies she tried resulted in multiple failures. After seven years of determined research she finally found success with dietary change, supplements and natural medicine therapies prescribed by an integrative medical doctor. Her integrative medical doctor ordered an amino acid panel and found that one of her sons was deficient in several amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of neurotransmitters in the brain. Shortly after her son started on the amino acid supplements, his facial tics stopped, his violent behavior went away, his seizures disappeared, he became happier, and remarkably, he went from failing in school to getting A’s and B’s in school. Watch the video to hear the whole story, and then order her book, “VICTORY OVER ADHD a holistic approach for helping children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” from www.amazon.com or her website http Video Interview of: Deborah Reinauer Merlin www.victoryoveradhd.com Produced by Larry Cook Author of The Beginner’s Guide to Natural Living www.thenaturalguide.com

Autism & Vaccines

Vaccines don’t cause autism. They just don’t. There was once a single, solitary study that stated a link (and remember kiddies, correlation ain’t causation) between the MMR vaccine and children. The sample size for the study was a measly 12 children. Andrew Wakefield, the study’s author, has lost his license to practice medicine and may face criminal charges for intentionally, fradulently manipulating the data as he did. There is NO scientific evidence suggesting vaccines cause autism. Autism appears to be a neurological condition with several genetic factors. You can get a quick review of how this faulty link came to be believed in this Salon.com article www.salon.com Love your child, whether they are neurotypical or not.

How many of you have a female child with ADHD?

We have a nine year old daughter that is severely ADHD. She is on two kinds of medicine- morning and evening. She started her meds a few weeks ago. What are some of the ways you deal with the problems that happen with an ADHD child? Temper tamtrums, not listening, just plain moody sometimes. Since she started taking her medicine, she really has gotten better. We still have our problems though. She goes back in a few weeks for reevaluation. My husband and I are looking for a few tips to make things a little easier. We have two other children in the house as well-3 years and 10 months. Thanks for your answers.
