Very interesting discussion concerning treatment of ADD and ADHD by managing sleep disturbances in the patients. It seems that a good nights rest affects the control of the ADD and ADHD symptoms.

Jerald H. Simmons, MD is a Neurologist and Sleep Disorders Specialist who has been diagnosing sleep disturbances in children with ADHD and ADD symptoms for 20 years. He has successfully been able to provide treatment of t ADHD / ADD symptoms by treating the underlying sleep disturbance. He explains this in the video clip. He also makes mention of how many of these children have the Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS), which is typically missed by most sleep centers.
